For many years, I have gone to see my old highschool friend, Lydia Tompkins, in Kansas City. I didn't get to go last summer, b/c I had a new grandson I hated to leave!
In that time period, Lydia and her hubby Jim moved to Peculiar, MO -and he pastors a church full time in the nearby town of Belton (see his blog on side.)
I had a fabulous time - Lydia kept me busy from the get-go...got milk from a friend's dairy, had dinner with friends, golfed,
played sand volleyball (and got a black hand/arm from serving...) saw Lydia's kids, ate Mexican food, played Mexican dominoes with friends, picked apples, went to movie, met new friends, and generally...can't wait to go back!!
